On occasion the company supervisor will make a call to the employee's job coach (who is not an employee of the company), to reemphasize the requirements of the job.

Cost of the accommodation to the employer: $0 The job coach who is employed by a service agency for people with disabilities mentors the employee, not the supervisor.

Length of employment: 8 months, 12/06 This employee was one of the first five to be hired into this new position. He remains as one of the three original guards of the current five.

Comments: Although the employee has had some bumps during his service, the supervisor says the guard is “psyched” about coming to work and “loves the job.”
