Job Description: Responsible for making rounds around the facility, filling out necessary paperwork, reporting questionable activity, attending trainings.

Accommodation needed: One of the reporting forms was difficult for the employee to use. The employee's job coach, who is not an employee of the company, redesigned it for him. On occasion the company supervisor will make a call to the employee's job coach (who is not an employee of the company), to reemphasize the requirements of the job.

Cost of the accommodation to the employer: $0 The job coach who is employed by a service agency for people with disabilities mentors the employee, not the supervisor.

Length of employment: 8 months, 12/06 This employee was one of the first five to be hired into this new position. He remains as one of the three original guards of the current five.

Attendance: Good, no issues

Comments: Although the employee has had some bumps during his service, the supervisor says the guard is “psyched” about coming to work and “loves the job.”
